A low-growing clump-forming perennial grass that creates dense mounds topped by vertical and light panicles. With or without flowerheads it’s a strongly architectural plants, ideal for mass-planting in the foreground or for a single spot of green in a mixed border.
We have often used it as a dense border with Salvias, Lavandulas and Stachys.
