Levathera x clementii 'Rosea'
A vigorous, bushy shrub with softly lobed green foliage and an abundance of open, rose-pink flowers resembling small hollyhocks. Flowering throughout summer and into autumn, it provides a generous display over many months and attracts visiting pollinators. Its rapid growth makes it useful for filling space in new gardens or adding height and colour towards the back of mixed borders.
Reaching approximately 1.5–2.5 m tall and wide, it prefers full sun and well-drained soil, sheltered from strong winds. Prune in spring after heavy frosts to encourage fresh flowering growth. ‘Rosea’ holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
