A reliable evergreen groundcover forming dense carpets of glossy green foliage, with small white flower spikes appearing in spring. Excellent for difficult shady areas beneath trees and shrubs, it prefers moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil and gradually spreads by underground rhizomes. Slow at first but reliable and hardy after the first year.
